  2. This archival set contains all the files needed to run DSP (version 1.1) and
  3. DSHO. It also has a set of pictures (.PIC) that can be used to provide
  4. a demonstration. To see the demo enter:
  5.     DEMO

  7. To run the editor enter:
  8.     DSP
  9.  
  10. DSP is a complete drawing program for the high resolution mode (black and
  11. white) of the CGA.  It can be used as a graphics editor to create detailed
  12. pictures for analysis or presentations.  After a series of pictures has
  13. been created, DSHO can be used to display them in a slide-show fashion.
  14. If you are curious about the difference between a paint program and a
  15. drawing program, or why Apple, DRI, and Microsoft felt it necessary to
  16. offer both types of programs, or why the only major enhancement CDC made
  17. to VISI_ON was the addition of a drawing program, then examine DSP closely.

  19. DSP is a fully functional version of the popular Sound Presentations, released
  20. to public domain by SP's owners and originators, Communication Dynamics.
  21. However the device indepence has been removed and the the high resolution mode
  22. of the CGA can be used with DSP.  Use, copy, and distribute DSP and any 
  23. pictures as much as you like. The only restriction is that you do not charge
  24. for copies of DSP nor use it in any commercial application.  If you have any
